Under the arrangement of the Police College, Chief Superintendent Kwok Pak-chung attended an executive training programme in John F Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University, the United States (US), in August.

The three-week programme about "Senior Managers in Government" explored how the US promoted and applied the methodology of public administration. In addition to lectures, case studies and thematic visits, a total of 67 government officials from various regions and countries attended group discussions to share their experience on the strategic and managerial challenges that public administrators are facing in general.

Mr Kwok found the programme very inspiring, and treasured the opportunity to establish network and friendship with officials from different jurisdictions.
