REAP & Intellectual 40m Series

The Police College conducted two Knowledge Management (KM) sharing sessions on September 7 and 8.

At a Research Enhanced Applied Policing (REAP) session on September 8, an Associate Professor of the Department of Psychology, Chinese University of Hong Kong, Professor Winton Au, outlined a joint collaborative research with the Police College on "Evaluating the Effectiveness of Emotional Fitness Training". Professor Au who is an Honorary Research Fellow and Honorary Advisor of the Police College talked about the development of emotional fitness training, and how the research findings helped to optimise the Force's training programmes.

On the other hand, Director of Music of the Police Band Leung Bo-kun and his band members explained the wonders of classical music to a group of participants at a sharing session of the Intellectual 40m Series on September 7. They also delivered a live performance, with overwhelming responses from the audience.
