In view of an intake of new residents in the first phase of redevelopment of So Uk Estate, the Traffic Kowloon West Region Road Safety Team and the Traffic Team of Sham Shui Po District launched a one-month road safety campaign in the estate from September 20.

As the new tenants have to adapt to the new pedestrian crossing facilities as well as the flow of heavy vehicles around the construction site for the second phase of the redevelopment, officers would distribute leaflets to the households, especially those with elderly residents, and drivers of public transport and heavy vehicles to promote pedestrian safety and attentive driving.
