Senior Superintendent Yuen Chi-kin and Chief Inspector Tsang Moon-lun of the Traffic Bureau Headquarters took part in the National Safer Roads Partnership Conference and the European Traffic Police Network Conference held respectively from September 28 to 29 and on October 4 and 5 in Manchester, the United Kingdom (UK).

The conferences brought together a formidable group of international speakers to provide food for thought on road policing, traffic enforcement and road safety. The two officers grasped the opportunity to visit the local traffic police and road safety partners in between the conferences.

Mr Yuen said the visit enabled them to draw on overseas experience, identify good practices and explore emerging technologies.
