With the arrangement of the Police College, Senior Inspector Man Lin-fat attended the Pacific Training Initiative 2016 organised by the Office of Legat of the United States Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) at Bangkok from August 22 to September 1.

The course, which is designed for senior law enforcement officials from the authorities in the Asia-Pacific region, focuses on tackling cross-jurisdictional crimes such as terrorism and corruption. Veteran FBI personnel shared with the participants their expertise and experience through classroom teaching and interactive exercises.

Not only had the course broadened the participants' horizons on the policing practices in other jurisdictions, but it also provided a platform for police officers from different places to build up bonding and enhance co-operation.
