Traffic Kowloon West (T KW) Region, the Road Safety Council (RSC) and Kowloon West Region of the Hong Kong Road Safety Patrol (HKRSP) jointly kicked off a road safety event "No Drug and No Drink Driving Bus Parade 2016" at the piazza of the Hong Kong Cultural Centre on October 9 to disseminate the tragic effects of drug or drink driving.

Among the officiating guests were Senior Superintendent of T KW Liu Shing-bun, Chairman of the Road Safety Campaign Committee (RSCC) of the RSC Dr Eric Cheng, KW Regional Commander of HKRSP Mr Lam Chi-wai, Chairpersons of the three RSCCs in KW, Chairpersons of the Traffic and Transport Committees of the three District Councils in KW and Promotion Officers of HKRSP.

Following the opening ceremony, all the guests and participants of the event boarded a bus, which went along the main roads of Tsim Sha Tsui East. Songs on road safety were played en route. The guests got off the bus at bar areas to distribute road safety leaflets and souvenirs to members of the public.
