The Vice-president of a company, Mr Chan, and his wife presented tapestry flags to Chief Inspector (Crime) Yin Hiu-yu and officers from the District Intelligence Section of Sau Mau Ping District (DIS SMPDIST) on October 4 in recognition of their swift work and professionalism in detecting a theft case.

After the victim found earlier that he had lost a watch, he reported the case to the Force. Upon investigation, the officers from DIS SMPDIST believed that the watch might have been pawned by another person. Subsequently, they arrested the suspect.
