The Road Safety Team of the Investigation and Support Division of Traffic New Territories South (RS I&S NTS) rolled out a Wise Ride 2016 Safe Cycling Promotion Campaign in partnership with the Road Safety Council and Shatin District (STDIST) at Pak Shek Kok Promenade on September 18 to enhance cyclists' awareness of bicycle riding safety.

The event featured a talk by bicycle coaches on safe cycling, correct riding skills, safety measures and traffic regulations; an exhibition of safe cycling information; and game booths. Meanwhile, cycling patrol teams of RS I&S NTS and STDIST, together with the Auxiliary Medical Service, conducted cycling patrols and spread safe cycling messages to the public.
