More than 65 running teams from different formations joined the Henry Shield Relay Race 2016 held by the Police Athletics Club (PAC) at the Aberdeen Country Park on October 11.

Deputy Commissioner (Management) Chau Kwok-leung was invited to present trophies to the winners. The titles of the Men's Fastest Leg Senior, Master and Open went to Sergeant (SGT) Ng Cheuk-yin, SGT Fong Chi-on and Police Constable Tsim Hoi-kin respectively. Furthermore, SGT Tsang Yiu-ying won the title of Ladies' Fastest Leg three times in a row. Eastern District captured the Champion of the Ladies Team. The Police Tactical Unit Headquarters was the winner as well as the first runner-up for Special/Training Unit, and also clinched the title of the Overall Fastest Team. The PAC Chairman, Assistant Commissioner Kwok Ho-fai, thanked all helpers for their support.

On the other hand, the PAC will organise a long-distance running training course from late November to February next year, with Olympic athlete Ms Yiu Kit-ching as the coach. Details will be announced in due course.
