The Police Dog Unit (PDU) and the Hong Kong Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA(HK)) will jointly organise the 14th Police Dog Trial on December 4 at Siu Sai Wan Sports Ground. Ordinary and VIP tickets for this charitable event, priced at $150 and $300 respectively, are now available for public sale at the SPCA (HK). All proceeds, after deducting expenditure, will be donated to the SPCA (HK). Five hundred complimentary tickets will be distributed to low-income families and elderly groups.

Chief Inspector of the PDU Lee Cheuk-wai said, "The event aims at showcasing the PDU as well as sending out the message of being responsible dog owners." The event will feature the agile performance and search skills of police dogs, a performance by the Police Pipe Band, game booths and a photo session with police dogs.
