The Police Tactical Unit Headquarters (PTU HQ) raised a record donation of $133,079 on December 6 in support of the annual territory-wide charity event "Operation Santa Claus" for the 22nd year.

Staff and trainees of the PTU continued the tradition to compete in challenging games to spread the goodwill spirit of Christmas in the charity event initiated by the South China Morning Post. This year, donations poured in from all Regional PTU Companies, Emergency Units, the Quick Reaction Force, Operations Bureau and PTU HQ. X-Ray Company topped the donation list with $23,046.

Another highlight of the PTU event were a charity auction of donated items and a charity buffet lunch hosted by Assistant Commissioner (Operations) Cheng Yiu-mo.
