The General Manager of a money exchange shop presented pennants to Wanchai District (WCHDIST) to express his gratitude to the officers for their efficiency in detecting a robbery.

Receiving the pennants were WCHDIST Assistant Commander (Crime) Bruce Hawkins, Chief Inspector (Crime) Sin Kwok-ming, Senior Inspector of District Crime Squad 2 (DCS 2) Hui Nok and other officers of DCS 2.

The robbery took place on July 12, at which a man used a grenade-like object to threaten the General Manager and robbed $100,000 in Hong Kong dollars and $50,000 in Renminbi. Upon receiving the case, officers of DCS 2 WCHDIST conducted an investigation, promptly arrested a suspect within five days and recovered some of the stolen money.
