Acting Commander of Yuen Long District (YLDIST) Mak Wai-man presented copies of a certificate to officers who had completed a Nepalese course on November 14.

The course was held to enhance frontline officers' knowledge of the lifestyle, culture and customs of Nepalese so as to facilitate their work in handling cases involving Nepalese. Over 300 officers had received the basic Nepalese training in the past decade. Ms Mak encouraged the officers to continue equipping themselves as professional officers.
