T uen Mun District (TMDIST) invited the Area Manageress of the International Social Service (ISS), Ms Ngan Wing-sze, and her colleagues to give a talk to frontline officers on October 20 and 26 about ISS's history and scope of work.

ISS Hong Kong Branch mainly caters for ethnic minorities who come to Hong Kong for asylum. They provide them with services such as monthly goodwill visits, accommodation allowance, food coupons and daily necessities. The talk reinforced the officers' knowledge of torture claimants and ISS's work.
