Traffic Branch Headquarters (TBHQ) appointed 25 young people as Road Safety Youth Leaders of Project Angel at the Police Headquarters on December 18, with Chief Superintendent of TBHQ Matthew Lindsay, Chairman of the Road Safety Campaign Committee of the Road Safety Council (RSC) Dr Cheng Kam-chung and Chairman of the Road Safety Association (RSA) Dr Liu Kai-ming as officiating guests.
Project Angel was staged by TBHQ in partnership with the RSC and RSA. On the recommendation of Regional Road Safety Teams, a group of dedicated Road Safety Patrol members aged between 10 and 14 was hand-picked to attend a leadership development programme with a view to empowering them as Road Safety Youth Leaders to assist the Force in traffic publicity activities.
