With 29 buildings and 86 households so far joining phase III of the Project Safe Yau Tsim Mong, prominent security improvement was seen in these buildings and the tenants were pleased with the result.

The project was kicked off by Yau Tsim District, Mong Kok District, Yau Tsim Mong District Fight Crime Committee along with the Home Affairs Department last September to provide subsidies to households of high-risk buildings or "three-nil" buildings in the districts to install closed-circuit television systems.

Besides, funding is available to install display panels in buildings with owners' corporations for broadcasting crime prevention video clips.
