I have a keen interest in athletics, especially field events, since my secondary school days. I used to participate in javelin competitions on behalf of my school. To me, winning a game is a recognition of my hard work while losing motivates me to improve myself. My enthusiasm in sports, however, faded after graduation.

When I worked as a volunteer in an athletics event last year, I met my school teacher in athletics again. Under his encouragement, I joined the Police Athletics Club and took up javelin again. But due to a shortage of sports venues, we did not have many training opportunities at the beginning. Later, with the co-ordination of different units, we could practise in a formal venue under the guidance of coaches to improve our skills and enhance our physical fitness.

Soon I regain my enthusiasm in sports and was nominated to represent the Force to take part in the biennial Corporate Games, in which I won two medals. I would like to thank the Force for giving me an opportunity to stand in the field again. The success of our life is not determined by the time and place of our start. Instead, we should grasp every opportunity to develop ourselves.
