Deputy Commissioner (Management) Chau Kwok-leung, Director of Personnel and Training Chiu Wai-yin and Assistant Commissioner (Personnel) Siu Chak-yee renewed acquaintance and friendship with about 650 members of the Hong Kong Police Old Comrades' Association and the Hong Kong Marine Police Retirees' Association at luncheons on January 11 and 18 respectively at the Police Sports and Recreation Club.

Mr Chau thanked the executive committee members of the two retirees' associations for organising many healthy and recreational activities, which had enriched the life of the retired comrades and also provided a platform for them to keep in contact. The participants of the luncheons included newly retired comrades and some retirees aged over 90.

The luncheons were initiated by the Force Management with the full support of the chairmen and executive committee members of  the two retirees' associations, and were fully subsidised by the Police Welfare Fund.
