Marine Police arranged for Station Sergeant (SSGT) Cheung Tin-chi of the Trial and Maintenance Unit of the Marine Regional Headquarters to speak at a seminar of the Knowledge Café (Marine Policing) on December 29.
Being a veteran SSGT with 34 years of practical frontline service in the Engine Specialist Stream, Mr Cheung shared the techniques for fighting a fire on board and tips for preventing electric shock during a vessel search. He also reminded the attendees the significance of occupational safety. A total of 42 frontline officers attended the seminar in a hope to sharpen their practical skills in this field.
