Railway District (RAILDIST) collaborated with the Police Community Relations Office of Kwun Tong District (PCRO KTDIST) to publicise anti-crime messages in the Railway Senior Smart Cop activity co-organised with the MTR Corporation Limited (MTRCL) on December 20.

Twenty-two Senior Police Call members acted as Railway Senior Smart Cops at Po Lam MTR Station. After learning from MTRCL staff about the station facilities and some general MTR by-laws, they were briefed by RAILDIST Commander Lau Cheng-fung on the crime situation within RAILDIST. They were reminded to pay more attention to their personal belongings, stay vigilant of scams and disseminate anti-crime messages among friends and relatives.

Then Mr Lau and officers of RAILDIST and PCRO KTDIST, together with the Railway Senior Smart Cops, distributed fight crime leaflets to passengers and shopkeepers in the concourse of the station to raise their awareness on crime prevention.
