Lantau South Division (LTSDIV) organised a hiking event for the leaders and other stakeholders of the Filipino community under Project Phi-Lan on December 18 to better understand their security concern.

The activity attracted 50 participants, including Divisional Commander of LTSDIV David Bennett, LTSDIV officers and representatives of Filipino groups. The participants set off at Mui Wo Ferry Pier, walked along Lantau Trail to Pui O and then joined a meal party at Cheung Sha Operational Base.

The officers talked with the Filipinos on various issues, such as juvenile delinquency. The activity not only promoted racial harmony, but also encouraged the Filipino leaders to disseminate anti-crime messages to their community and encourage them to report crime.
