The Regional Crime Prevention Office (RCPO) of Marine Region conducted a crime prevention workshop at the Marine Regional Headquarters on February 8, drawing the participation of over 70 representatives from various sea-faring communities.

The Regional Intelligence Unit of the RCPO encouraged the representatives to strengthen communication with the Force on intelligence gathering to interdict crime. The participants were also briefed on the prevailing crime trend and anti-theft devices and initiatives, and they showed enthusiastic response about the installation of closed-circuit television systems on their vessels.
