Tuen Mun District (TMDIST) held the annual Networking Luncheon with Schools cum Seminar on Crime Prevention on January 16, with the participation of 60 school representatives.
The attendees included Chairpersons of the Association of Secondary School Heads, Association of Primary School Heads and Kindergarten Heads Association in Tuen Mun; Vice President of the Chu Hai College of Higher Education; Associate Director of the Office of Service-Learning of the Lingnan University; Senior Director of the Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education (Tuen Mun Campus); and Chairperson of the Federation of Parent-Teacher Association in Tuen Mun.
Following the delivery of a welcoming speech by TMDIST Commander Mak Wai-man, Officer-in-charge of TMDIST Anti-Triad Squad 1 Lee Shu-kuen gave a talk on preventing triad infiltration in schools. Ms Mak also expressed gratitude to the academia for their support to TMDIST. The attendees appreciated the officers' efforts in upholding law and order, and they pledged to maintain close liaison with the Force to reduce juvenile crime.
