To enhance communication with the Non-ethnic Chinese (NEC) community in fighting crime under the NEC Harmony New Generation Campaign, Western District (WDIST) publishes a series of Force activities in a free bi-monthly Hong Kong magazine which is printed in English, Hindi and Punjabi.

The activities held by WDIST for the NEC included the watching of a rehearsal of the Police Tactical Unit passing-out parade, and visits to the former North Kowloon Magistracy, Sha Tsui Correctional Institution as well as Fire and Ambulance Services Academy.

Furthermore, anti-drug and cyber crime seminars were held to enable the NEC to get a better understanding of the culture and systems of Hong Kong with an aim to promoting racial harmony. They were also encouraged to access the Force's webpage, mobile applications, Facebook and Instagram to view tips on preventing crime, and to help spread the information to their community.
