Kowloon City District (KCDIST) Commander Alice Lee appointed 35 Honorary Presidents at the inauguration ceremony of KCDIST Junior Police Call (JPC) Honorary Presidents Council 2017-2019 cum Spring Reception in February.

Ms Lee thanked all the Honorary Presidents for their contribution in nurturing JPC members over the years. Among the 500-plus guests included Regional Commander of Kowloon West Cheuk Hau-yip, Chairman of KCDIST JPC Honorary Presidents Council Dr Wong Kwok-keung, Kowloon City District Councillors, members of the Kowloon City District Fight Crime Committee and community leaders.

Meanwhile, Mr Cheuk also presented the KCDIST Logo Design Award to Sergeant (Auxiliary) Lau Chi-kwong. The contest was held to enhance officers' sense of belonging and promote a caring culture in workplace, with 30 designs received from officers as well as civilian staff. Furthermore, the Chairman and Vice-chairmen of KCDIST JPC Honorary Presidents Council presented "The Best Junior Police Call Member" and "The Best Kowloon City Junior Police Call School Club" awards to the winners.
