Assistant Commissioner (Operations) Cheng Yiu-mo led an 11-member delegation to visit the Guangdong Provincial Public Security Department (GDPSD) and the Guangdong Border Control Bureau (GDBCB) on February 17 and 18 to discuss cross-boundary security issues.

Deputy Director of the GDPSD Mr Peng Hui led the delegates to tour their state-of-the-art Command and Counter-terrorism Control Centre. Both sides exchanged views on security matters relating to the two places.

Then the delegates met with Political Commissar of the GDBCB Mr Zhao Changhua and Chief of Staff of the GDBCB Mr Zhao Quanhong. The Tactical Brigade of the GDBCB also showcased a series of firearms, equipment and their tactics for combatting illegal immigration, terrorists and riots.
