The Chairperson of an owners' corporation (OC) of a private housing estate in Tuen Mun, Miss Chiu Mei-lin, and some of the OC members presented flags to Commander of Tuen Mun District (TMDIST) Mak Wai-man, Assistant District Commander (Crime) Chan Chun-chun and Senior Inspector Lau Hiu-tan of District Investigation Team 6 (DIT 6) on February 28 for their swift detection of a case.

The case took place on November 19 when the door of a victim's home was found daubed with red paint. DIT 6 took up the case for investigation and apprehended the culprit promptly. The suspect was convicted in court and sentenced to imprisonment for six weeks.
