Led by Acting Commander of Shatin District (STDIST) Angus Pullinger, the anti-deception awareness action team of Ma On Shan Division (MOSDIV) and the Regional Crime Prevention Office of New Territories South gave a briefing on telephone deception and crime prevention at the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) on March 7 in collaboration with the Police Community Relations Office of STDIST.

Speaking to approximately 200 Mainland exchange students, Police Constable Lam Foon-foon from MOSDIV cited some recent cases to illustrate telephone deception tricks concerning Mainland students and, most importantly, the officers gave crime prevention advice to raise the students' alertness. The responses from the audience were positive.
