The three-week Standard Crime Prevention Course organised by the Crime Prevention Bureau (CPB) came to a successful conclusion on March 31, offering practical knowledge and showing up-to-date security equipment to 25 trainees mainly from Regional Crime Prevention Offices.
Through lectures and fieldwork assignments, the trainees learned to apply crime prevention concepts and techniques to real life scenarios and in doing so gained valuable insight into ways to give professional crime prevention advice to the public.
On the last day of the course, Chief Superintendent (Crime Support) Chan Wing-on presented certificates to the trainees, and thanked CPB staff and guest speakers for their contribution to the course.
