Regional Commander of Kowloon West (RC KW) Cheuk Hau-yip presented certificates of appointment to 25 Honorary Presidents of the Kowloon West Youth-Care Committee (KWYCC) at the 17th Inauguration Ceremony of the committee on April 6 at Kowloon City Plaza. He thanked them and the committee members for their ongoing support for KW Region.

Mr Cheuk also paid tribute to the working partners of KWYCC for their assistance and presented certificates of appreciation to members of KW Youth-Care Volunteer Services Team, who had pulled off for seven consecutive years a Gold Award for Volunteer Service (Organisation) held by the Social Welfare Department. The team has been nurturing youths-at-risk through a series of crime prevention activities for the past 17 years in an attempt to prevent them from going astray. Last year, they contributed 3 218 volunteer service hours to assist youths-in-need.
