The Police Tactical Unit Operations Contingent (1) (PTU OPS CONT 1) recently rolled out Project IM WAVE RIDER, which covered an Integrity Management Workshop (IM Workshop) and various interactive initiatives, with a view to raising officers' awareness towards potential integrity pitfalls and strengthening their supervisory accountability.

The IM Workshop was held on April 6, with representatives from the Internal Investigations Branch and the Independent Commission Against Corruption speaking on the common breaches of discipline and law by police officers. The workshop also introduced IM initiatives, such as IM capsules filled with integrity messages and anti-crime souvenirs, role-play exercises and IM games, to increase officers' alertness on integrity education.

Apart from the workshop, a session titled "Shall We Talk" was conducted for officers ranging from Junior Police Officers to Inspectors in order to reinforce support for the group.

Furthermore, a tool set containing the guidelines of the Force and voluntary social service agencies as well as a note on counselling skills were given to officers to help them identify and guide colleagues who face unmanageable debts.
