The two-week-long Police Badminton Championships for 2016/17 came to a close at the Police Sports and Recreation Club on March 20, with more than 100 Force badminton lovers participating in 11 events.

After rounds of strenuous games, the championship of Men's Single in the Open, Senior, Veteran and Master categories went to officers Chan Kwan-siu, Wu Chun-ngok, Wong Shu-chung and Kan Shu-keung respectively. Law Lok-yiu clinched Ladies' Single Championship while Lui Hiu-ying and Ms So Lok-yiu captured the championship of Ladies' Double. Lam Kim-ming and Wong Sai-hung won Men's Double (Open) while Ma Wai-hing and Tong Yuen-chiu clinched the championship of Men's Double (Advance). Chan Yau-hin and Chow Lok-yi came first in Mixes' Double. The Lucky Cup (Cup) went to Yau Yee-kin and Chan Chi-kwong while the Lucky Cup (Plate) was captured by Yan Wai-tong and Tsang Cheung-yiu.

The presentation ceremony will be held at the Annual General Meeting of the Police Badminton Club on May 20. Force members are welcome to attend the meeting to share the joy with the winners. For seat reservation, please call Ms Lai Mei-wah on 2860-1909.
