The Kowloon West Best Security Services Awards Presentation Ceremony 2016, jointly organised by Kowloon West (KW) Regional Crime Prevention Office, the Security and Guarding Services Industry Authority (SGSIA) and the Hong Kong Association of Property Management Companies (HKAPMC), took place at the Police Sports and Recreation Club on May 25.

KW Regional Commander Cheuk Hau-yip, Chairman of the SGSIA Mr Cham Ka-hung and President of the HKAPMC Mr Lee Chun-lai presented awards to the outstanding security personnel for assisting the Force in combating crime. Both the gold and silver awardees of the Best Security Guard for this year came from the hotel sector.

Through the award scheme, frontline security personnel are encouraged to report information obtained from their daily work to the Force, and KW officers will disseminate crime alerts to the practitioners to help prevent and fight crime.
