Kwun Tong District Councillor Mrs Poon Yam Wai-chun and the representatives of an owners' committee of a private housing estate presented tapestry flags to Divisional Commander of Ngau Tau Kok Division Chan Lai-man, Commander of the Emergency Unit of Kowloon East (EU KE) Wong Ho-hon who was also a member of the Police Negotiation Cadre (PNC), and Acting Chief Inspector Mak Sin-ham of EU KE on May 10 in recognition of their efforts in handling an attempted suicide case.

Mrs Poon praised the officers for their swift work and professionalism, and particularly commended the PNC for their devotion to saving life at the scene. Sau Mau Ping District Commander Wong Kwong-hing, who was the Commanding Officer of the PNC, introduced to the guests their district policing plan as well as the work of the PNC.
