Dear HK Police Department,
This is written on behalf of my parents, who are both from Hong Kong but reside in Canada right now.
My mother lost her purse in the evening at Sau Mau Ping Shopping Centre on May 21, 2017. Inside her purse contained her Canadian passport and her travel allowance for their trip. It was important for her to have her passport as they were going on a trip the next day.
They contacted the police department to inform them about the situation and two officers from Sau Mau Ping Division quickly attended the situation. Officers 48335 and A6099 did an exceptional job in resolving the issue; they managed to contact the store owner who then asked the store manager to return to the store. Luckily, my mother's purse was found in the store and they happily went on their trip the next day.
We are very appreciative of the two officers' efforts and everyone's co-operation. On behalf of my parents, I would like to commend Officers 48335 and A6099. Please convey our thanks to the officers.
Sincerely,
Jordan
(Editor's note: The officers praised in this letter are Police Constable Lee Wing-lee of PSU 3 SMPDIV and Auxiliary Police Constable Choy Fuk-yu of PSU 2 SMPDIVA.)
