Central and Western District Council (DC) Member Siu Ka-yi and a few citizens presented pennants to Commander of Central District (CDIST)Chan Joon-sun and other local officers on July 5 for their professionalism displayed in the investigation of two criminal cases.

In June 2016, a fraud syndicate attempted to deceive a finance company to grant a property loan of $2 million to them by impersonating to be a director of a company that owns the property. Another criminal damage case took place between March and May this year, during which some publicity banners of the DC Member in Central were maliciously damaged. Upon in-depth investigation, officers of CDIST neutralised the fraud syndicate and apprehended the culprit of the criminal damage case.
