The Police Judo Club clinched double championships in men's and women's events of the Hong Kong Judo Team Championships held by the Judo Association of Hong Kong, China on July 16.

The team gained the awards after defeating the traditional giants in tough matches. The players believed that their team spirit was the key to their outstanding result.

Chairman of the Police Judo Club Mr Lau Ka-yip commended the team for their superb performance and hoped that they would build on the success of the event in the upcoming World Police and Fire Games to be held in Los Angeles.
