Superintendent of the Counterfeit, Forgery and Support Division of the Commercial Crime Bureau Chan Tin-chu delivered a keynote speech on "Looking Behind to Stay Ahead of the Fraudsters" at the "Global Risk Leadership Conference" in Singapore between July 31 and August 3.

Over 200 delegates from the payment card and FinTech industry as well as law enforcement agencies (LEAs) in the Asia-Pacific Region attended the annual conference. It offered a good opportunity for the stakeholders to share knowledge and their best practices on important topics such as payment security issues, security vulnerabilities and innovative techniques to mitigate payment card fraud.

Mr Chan exchanged views with his counterparts on the latest trend of payment card fraud and countermeasures, and also took part in forums with representatives of overseas LEAs and professionals to strengthen partnership in tackling such fraud.
