At the invitation of the Customs and Excise Department (C&ED), the Force ran a seminar at Man Kam To Control Point for frontline customs officers on the proper use of traffic hand signals.

Customs officers who conduct vehicle clearance are required to direct traffic at the land boundary control points. In this regard, officers from the Force's Police Driving and Traffic Training Centre gave a seminar to about 20 frontline customs officers from various Land Boundary Commands on July 18 to enhance their effectiveness of using hand signals for directing traffic. The seminar also provided an opportunity of experience sharing between the Force and C&ED.
