The Support Wing hosted a Thank You Reception on August 10 at the newly-opened Junior Police Call centre at Pat Heung to express the Force Senior Management's gratitude to officers in connection with the security operation mounted during President Xi Jinping's inspection of Hong Kong and the 20th anniversary (20A) of the establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.

Officers of the Support Wing, including those from the Police Public Relations Branch, the Traffic Branch Headquarters and the Transport Division, attended the reception. Assistant Commissioner (Support) Patrick Hodson expressed appreciation to all officers concerned, adding that the operation could not be a success without the contribution of the officers. He was proud of the officers for their professionalism displayed in the operation.
