The Emergency Unit of Kowloon West (EU KW) made arrangements for some members of the international Air Cadet Corps and local Nepalese to visit their operational base separately in August in an attempt to enhance their understanding of the Force.

More than 40 Air Cadets from the Mainland, Australia, Belgium, Canada, France, Korea, the United Kingdom and the United States, accompanied by representatives from the Hong Kong Air Cadet Corps, toured the EU KW Operational Base on August 1. They were received by Senior Inspector of the EU KW Ng Tsz-kin.

Meanwhile, at the invitation of Assistant Commander (Operations) of Yau Ma Tei Division (YMTDIV) Cheung Ka-po, Chief Inspector of the EU KW Lau Tat-fai and the Nepalese Task Force of YMTDIV, more than 30 Nepalese participants visited the EU KW on August 16. Officers of YMTDIV and the EU KW made use of the opportunity to enhance social cohesion and know more about Nepalese in the district.

On both occasions, the participants of the Air Cadet Corps and the Nepalese community were briefed on the structure of the EU KW and their daily work, followed by watching a display of the unit's equipment and a demonstration by the Police Dog Unit.
