The Police College arranged The Hong Kong Federation of the Blind to visit the School of Foundation Training on July 28 and September 12 in an attempt to engage its visually impaired members and their families.

The Drill and Musketry Unit introduced different police equipment and uniforms to over 100 federation members and their families, and let them touch and get a feel of the equipment and uniforms. Then the Silver Band of the Police Band performed golden melodies for the visitors while the Pipe Band marched in with heroic Scotland tunes. To conclude the enjoyable event, the band members talked with the visitors, who got a chance to try the musical instruments.

The Federation thanked the Police College for arranging their members to get close contact with officers and equipment to increase their understanding of the Force.
