Eight Wong Tai Sin District Council (WTSDC) Members, including Chairman Mr Li Tak-hong, Vice-Chairman Mr Lai Wing-ho and Legislative Councillor Mr Wu Chi-wai, together with representatives of various residents' associations in Wong Tai Sin, presented pennants to officers of Wong Tai Sin District (WTSDIST), Police Tactical Unit of Kowloon East (PTU KE) and Regional Crime Unit (RCU) KE on August 31 in recognition of their professional performance in five cases from February to July.

WTSDIST Commander James Betts, Deputy Commander Young Chi-man and Company Commander of PTU KE Ng Chi-chung led the officers to receive the commendation. The five cases included the arrest of six suspects for "Trafficking in a dangerous drug" in a decoy operation conducted by a District Special Duty Squad, the arrest of a man for "Robbery" by District Investigation Team 1, and PTU KE's swift arrest of a man with suspected mental illness for chopping his father.
