The Police College made arrangements for Senior Inspector Mo Siu-hei to attend the Pacific Training Initiative 2017, organised by the Office of Legat of the United States Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in Bangkok, Thailand from August 15 to 25.

The course, which is designed for senior officials from law enforcement authorities in the Asia-Pacific region, focuses on tackling cross-jurisdictional crimes such as terrorism, cyber crime, human trafficking and corruption. Veteran FBI personnel shared with the participants their expertise and experience through lectures and interactive exercises.

Not only had the course broadened the participants' horizons on the policing practices in other jurisdictions, but it also provided a platform for police officers from different places to build bonding and enhance co-operation.
