The Emergency Unit of Hong Kong Island (EU HKI) led members of the 36th Hong Kong Scout Troop to visit their operational base at Caine House on September 22 in a bid to enhance mutual understanding and support.

After welcoming more than 20 scouts aged between 11 and 16 and of different nationalities along with their group leaders, Inspector Chu Fuk-yu gave a presentation on the role, responsibilities and challenges of EU HKI. Officers then brought the group to take a look at their equipment, an EU patrol car and a police patrol dog at close range. The event helped to promote the Force's image and the young scouts enjoyed the visit very much.
