The Juvenile Protection Section of Kowloon East (JPS KE) arranged over 30 members of Project "Teens" to visit The Hong Kong Jockey Club on October 21 with a view to broadening their horizon and inspiring them to explore their career options.

Staff of the Jockey Club led the members for a guided tour of the facilities of Sha Tin Racecourse, which covered stables, a horse hospital, a centralised kitchen and a security control centre. The members were thrilled to visit the stables, to touch and to feed the horses. They were also fascinated by the Jockey Club's long list of job opportunities, such as stable caretaker, veterinarian, jockey trainee, pharmacist, chef and security guard. It was a fun and educational outing that they enjoyed!

JPS KE organised a series of community activities for members of Project "Teens" to encourage them to develop their potential and groom them to be crime prevention ambassadors.
