To promote community participation, North Point Division (NPDIV) invited a group of people with disabilities from Hong Kong PHAB Association to visit the North Point Police Station on October 4 under Project RAPPORT ROOM.

Officers not only briefed the visitors about the policing characteristics of NPDIV and the services of the report room, but also let them try the newly built barrier-free facilities. The visitors showed a keen interest in the report room facilities, and interacted well with report room staff.

The visit has enhanced understanding of report room officers about the needs and viewpoints of people with disabilities, thus strengthening NPDIV's community engagement network.
