President of Zhejiang Police College Mr Ding Hong led a six-member delegation to visit the Hong Kong Police College (HKPC) between October 23 and 27 to exchange views with the management team of HKPC on their training strategies and development programmes. They also made a courtesy call on senior officers of the Force.

Through a guided tour to the School of Foundation Training, School of Professional Development and School of Specialised Learning of HKPC, the delegates learned about the HKPC's structure, development plans, training principles and planning of training programmes. To enrich the visit, the delegation also paid a visit to JPC@Pat Heung and the Police Museum.

Noting that Zhejiang Police College has been a close training partner of HKPC since 2011, Mr Ding said that the visit had increased the delegates' understanding of the training philosophy of HKPC. He looked forward to closer ties between both parties so as to enhance the quality of their respective training programmes.
