Officers attend KM Conference in Australia

The Force Knowledge Management (KM) Champion in Lessons Learnt, Senior Superintendent Steven Tait, and a representative of Hong Kong Police College (HKPC), Senior Inspector Cheung Lam-yan, attended 2017 KM Melbourne Conference in Australia on November 13 and 14.

Organised by the Australian Society for KM, the conference focused on using KM as a way of unleashing collaboration and innovation. The key speakers included an Honorary Advisor of HKPC, Professor Eric Tsui of KM and Innovation Research Centre of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, as well as other professionals responsible for developing the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) standards for KM.

Mr Tait and Ms Cheung shared with other participants the development of KM in the Force. The Force's active involvement in international KM events over the years enables officers to keep abreast of the counterparts' good practices to enhance the performance of the Force.
