Executive Manager of Corporate Security of The Hong Kong Jockey Club (HKJC) Mr Fung Chi-ming presented a pennant on behalf of the club to the Task Force Sub-Unit (TFSU) and the management of Kwun Tong District (KTDIST) on November 30 in recognition of their efficiency and professionalism in detecting a theft case.

Earlier on November 5, a victim left a wallet with $9,000 in cash at HKJC Yau Tong Betting Branch, and the wallet was subsequently taken by another person. Through liaison with HKJC and extensive analysis, TFSU KTDIST identified a suspect and arrested him the following day with the stolen item recovered.

In this connection, KTDIST Commander Chan Kwok-kee praised TFSU officers for swiftly detecting recently a series of crime cases, which covered shop burglary, upskirt photo-taking and indecent assault. He encouraged the officers to keep up their good work.
